The GFWC Hudson Junior Woman’s Club is a volunteer organization serving our community since 1967. We serve Hudson, NH and the greater community by volunteering in the areas of Education, Home Life, Conservation, and the Arts, as well as International and Public Affairs.
The purpose of the club is to bring together women who are interested in building a better community. By joining forces with others, we are able to make improvements within our community with greater impact than through individual efforts.
Your membership in the GFWC Hudson Junior Woman’s Club would give you the opportunity to put to use your time and talents in service to the Town of Hudson, while making lasting friendships.

Glove Hollow Christmas Tree Farm a wholesale and cut your own Christmas Tree Farm located in Plymouth, NH is owned and operated by the Ahern family who have been farming the property since 1897.
“GLOVE HOLLOW” is a term locals use to describe the area along a local brook now known as Glove Hollow Brook. In the early 1900’s some of the finest leather gloves produced in the United States were manufactured right here by the Draper-Maynard Co. The foundation for this facility can still be viewed in the low hollow area along the brook at the Northern boundary line of our farm.
On February 19, 1942 the Goffstown Mothers Club was established to “provide a study group for mothers and to sponsor a scholarship for a deserving student of Goffstown High School”.
Throughout its’ history the Goffstown Mothers Club has continued to provide its members with personal enrichment through programs of interest, informative speakers, crafts, demonstrations and social activities. Just as important, is our contribution to the community. We are proud to have provided scholarships to graduating high school seniors each year since 1949.
In addition, we have made contributions to our local schools, the public library, and programs for the elderly, as well as other community projects. Over the years the Club has been involved in such projects as the Red Cross Blood Drive, Pre-School Vision and Hearing Clinic, local food pantry, the school census, dental clinic, swimming classes, Saturday afternoon movies and dancing classes for area children. In 1956 the Club founded the first kindergarten in Goffstown and ran it until 1976.
The Club was also instrumental in establishing the library at Maple Avenue Elementary School in 1958.
