The Hampstead Civic Club suggests and promotes civic involvement for the
betterment of the Hampstead Community and provides local activities to the
people of Hampstead.
The Civic Club presently offers a number of programs within the community.
Programs include: Fall Soccer, Jr. Olympics, Basketball, Golf Tournament,
Texas Hold’em, Fishing Derby, Scholarships, Independence Day celebration,
and Chess Club.
The Civic Club is continually striving to improve how it serves the community. If
you have any suggestions or would like to help, please let us know. It’s
through everyone’s efforts that we are able to help make Hampstead such a
wonderful town in which to live.
Membership in the Civic Club is open to all residents, 18 years and
older. Regular meetings start at 8:00 PM on the fourth Monday of each
month and are held at the Civic Club Headquarters next to the
Hampstead Town Hall.
We would like to give a special THANK YOU to the Hampstead BeanTowne Coffee House & Cafe for allowing us to host our monthly meeting at their cafe. Interested in learning more about our club? Mothers residing in Hampstead, New Hampshire and East Hampstead, New Hampshire as well as mothers who have a child in the Hampstead Central School or Hampstead Middle School are invited to join the club. Moms must have at least one child in eighth grade or younger.

We regularly host Ladies Night Out to give members a chance to connect and relax after the kids have gone to bed (hopefully!) We’ve gone bowling, out for dinner and drinks, painted pottery, or just hung out by the pool.

We will be opening for the season on the Sunday after Thanksgiving – The type of trees that are available are Balsam, Concolor & Fraser Fir, and Blue & White Spruce. As always, we also have wreaths for sale and complimentary refreshments.
Gordon and Carolyn Page welcome you to High Meadow farm to choose the perfect tree and wreath. We have a variety of tree types including the popular Balsam and Fraser firs up to 12 feet tall. Prices range from $25 for Spruce and Nikko fir to $40 for Balsam and Fraser. We provide sharp handsaws. No chainsaws, thank you. If you wish, one of our helpers will be glad to cut the tree for you. There is no charge for wrapping trees in plastic netting.
Wreaths are made with our fresh boughs with all natural decorations and range in size from 12 to 30 inches. In our shop we provide mulled cider and cookies on weekends. Our woodstove gives a respite from the cold. Available in the shop are ornaments, wreath hangers, bows and sturdy tree stands.
Sat., June 3-Sept. 16, 9a.m.-Noon. Vegetables, fruits, flowers/plants, dairy, baked goods, meat, fish, crafts. Occasional Musical entertainment throughout the season. Rain or shine.
The Hudson Historical Society is dedicated to preserving the history of Hudson, NH.We maintain an historical museum at the “Alvirne” Hills House on Derry Road. We receive and preserve souvenirs and historical data to stimulate an interest in historical matters as they relate to our town.
