The Community Players is where theater lives in the capitol region. Founded in 1927, the Players have a long history of producing quality productions that engage and entertain. Each season, three main stage productions and one childrens theater show are selected to delight audiences. We invite you to explore our website.
The historic Derry Opera House offers a variety of shows including Broadway musicals, plays, children¹s theater, dance, concerts and fine art shows. Shows are produced by various local performing arts groups. The Opera House is located in downtown Derry, NH and is operated by the Greater Derry Arts Council. A major, $1.5 million renovation of the Adams Memorial Building was completed in 2001. The Opera House has upgraded heating, air conditioning and electric systems, upgraded rest rooms, a new elevator, sprinkler system, and dressing rooms. The Opera House is handicap accessible and seats up to 350 patrons. The balcony is also available for seating, with restored theatre-style seats from the Boston Opera House.
Since 1975, Leddy Center has been producing quality shows, concerts and music education in southeastern New Hampshire! Leddy Center’s 2014 season includes wonderful musicals, shows, concerts, Christmas operas, school productions, summer camps, group classes and private lessons in the arts.
The mission of the Palace Theatre Trust is to enrich the region’s cultural life and serve as a community resource through its stewardship of the historic Palace Theatre. It does so by providing a broad range of live, high quality, professional and community performances, as well as educational opportunities for performers and audiences of all ages.
The Palace Theatre is a non-profit performing arts center that hosts its own professional company, youth and teen program and presenting acts. Pontine / West End Studio Theatre
For over 35 years, Pontine Theatre has been an active participant in the development of actor-based theatre, creating work that is engaging, innovative and original. Pontine’s work is founded on the concept that the actor should function as a creative (rather than interpretive) artist, and that the name actor dictates action (movement) as a primary tool. Co-Artistic Directors, M. Marguerite Mathews and Gregory Gathers, have produced over 50 original works. Creating and performing these works, Pontine has introduced their unique form of theatre to audiences throughout New England, transforming audience interest in mime, puppetry, literature, and history into enthusiasm for this distinctive synthesis of forms.

Rochester Opera House, a not-for-profit organization, presents a full performance season of shows for adults, families, students and teens as well as four sessions of Summer Theatre Camp. With the floor leveled, the theatre transforms into a dance club or a nightclub with cocktail seating for a series of Broadway musicals. Since 1998, thousands of theatre patrons have traveled to this historic theatre from over six-hundred cities and towns in New England and beyond.

The Stockbridge Theatre
The Academy’s mission is to “foster a student-centered community with purposefully designed, interactive, and relevant learning opportunities.”
To that end, the Stockbridge Theatre offers a variety of performances of live music, drama, and dance. Students and patrons alike can experience and interact with some of the foremost artists of our time. The best of Broadway performers, spirit-lifting holiday music, and amazing feats of acrobatics will all grace the stage at the Stockbridge this year.
The Stockbridge is also proud to provide a home for student performances. The rising stars of tomorrow are showcased through the Pinkerton Chorus, Band, and Dance programs, as well as the plays and musicals of the Pinkerton Players.

The Village Players is a non-profit amateur community theater organization in Wolfeboro, NH.We present three to five productions a year including dramas, comedies, mysteries and major musicals at our own 200 seat theater on Glendon Street.
The theatre is air conditioned and handicapped accessible.
